What is AOL Keyword: Accessibility?

AOL Keyword: Accessibility provides tips for AOL members who:

  • Have difficulty seeing the computer screen and would like more information on adjusting the text size, contrast or color.
  • Use a screen reader for a visual impairment and would like tips on how to optimize the use of the AOL service with their screen reader.
  • Have difficulty typing or using a mouse and would like more information on shortcuts to ease navigation.
  • Are deaf or hard of hearing and want to know about developments in instant messaging, wireless messaging, and captioning.
  • Want to know about AOL's non-PC services that make AOL and the Internet accessible in new, exciting ways.

Tip: AOL Keywords make it possible for you to jump around quickly online, without having to remember exactly how you got to a certain area. As you explore America Online, notice the AOL Keyword that is displayed in the lower right corner of the window. When you want to return to that area, you can use the AOL Keyword feature to go there directly. For a list of AOL Keywords, visit AOL Keyword: Keyword.
