The
AIM® service lets you control who contacts you. You can
choose to decline further messages from a screen name during
the current session only. The user will be able to send you
messages again the next time you sign on.
To prevent
a user from sending you further messages, an easy way to decline
messages is to forward the offending user's message (if your
phone supports this) to the AIM-Decline phone book entry.
If your
phone does not support forwarding messages, then create a new
text message, type the user's screen name in the message, and
send the message to the AIM-Decline phone book entry.
Use the
AOL, AIM, or AIM Express service on your computer to permanently
block the screen name from sending you messages on any AIM service
you are using.
