The
AIM® service lets you control who contacts you by letting you
decline messages from specific AIM users while you are signed on
to the AIM service.
Rejecting
messages only rejects messages from a screen name during the current
session. The person will be able to send messages again the next
time you sign on.
To permanently reject messages from that user, you can use the AIM
Express service on the PC to block users. The Block User feature
adds the screen name to a permanent global Block List.
A
rejected buddy will be displayed with an X next to
their screen name in your Online Buddies or Offline Buddies list
on the main AIM page. A blocked screen name will never be
displayed as an Online Buddy on your phone.

NOTE: |
At
this time, you can only use the AIM Express service to change
the "global" Block List. Any changes made using the
AIM service on the desktop only apply to the personal computer
it is installed on. |
